In-House Spelling Bee
A word list will be given to each student in Kindergarten through Eighth Grade on August 23, 2005. The first and second place winner in each grade 3-8 qualifies to participate at a disctrict bee. Students only spell words from their grade level at the local school spelling bee. However, the 5-8 grade winners need to study all of the grades 5-8 words in preparation for the final run-off at the district bee. Fifth through Eighth Grades have the opportunity to qualify for the Regional and later National events.
