Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO)
Parent-Teacher Conferences
The school wants to communicate freely with the parents and welcomes any inquiries concerning their children. Parents wanting a conference with a teacher should send a note to the teacher or call the school office to arrange a conference time. Parents are requested not to hold a conference with a teacher before school since teachers will either be on duty or in their prayer time. Teachers will contact parents by telephone or a note requesting a conference should there be a need to discuss a student's work or conduct. A time will be set that is convenient to both the teacher and the parent. Parent contact is required for all students who make grades below 75, N's, or U's on report cards or progress reports.
Parent-Teacher Fellowship (PTF)
The PTF is a major parent support group of the school. This group is very active in booster activities and fund raising projects. The PTF endeavors to get the name of Trinity Baptist Temple Academy before the public in as many positive ways as feasible. Inasmuch as Trinity Baptist Temple Academy has a limited income, based on tuition and a strong financial commitment from its parent, Trinity Baptist Temple Church, the PTF and administration set a priority list of projects each year to meet the needs of the students and the school. All families are encouraged to join and become joyful participants. The PTF believes in and is committed to Christian education with excellence and sets its agenda to support that belief.
