General Admission Information

  1. Parents must understand that the KJV Bible will be taught as the authoritative Word of God and both parents must sign the Bible class form in the application indicating that they will support the Bible teaching of Trinity Baptist Temple Academy. Parents must understand that each teacher will attempt to lead their child to a personal relationship and commitment with Jesus Christ.

  2. Trinity Baptist Temple Academy is a ministry of Trinity Baptist Temple Church and the following priorities are established for the filling of new vacancies:

    1. Students whose families already have persons enrolled in the school, to allow all of the children to be enrolled in one school.
    2. Students whose families are members of Trinity Baptist Temple Church.
    3. Students whose families are members of other churches within commuting distance.

  3. At the beginning of school, fees and tuition must be paid to date in order to attend the first day of class. All fees must be paid monthly, as agreed to by parents, in order for a student to be able to remain in Trinity Baptist Temple Academy. All fees must be paid on time, according to schedule so that the school can maintain a balanced budget.

  4. Students must show Biblical respect for all persons in authority at the school and for one another. Disrespect will not be tolerated and will lead to disciplinary action.

  5. The administration reserves the right to withhold the acceptance of a student if, after testing and evaluation of the student's application, it is determined that this school cannot properly educate the student. Due to the lack of specialized programs, students with learning disabilities or who have been enrolled in special education programs are not eligible for enrollment at Trinity Baptist Temple Academy.

Admissions Requirements

All applicants are considered on the basis of recommendations and previous report cards. Previous educational records, behavioral patterns, and the personal interview with the student and parents are all considered in the acceptance process.

In addition, the following School Board requirements must be met:

New Students

  1. Students will not be accepted unless applications are complete and interviews are concluded. Each parent or guardian in the household must be interviewed by the principal. Parents must have the right motives for sending their child to Trinity Baptist Temple Academy.

  2. For a new student to be eligible for admission, at least one parent must be a Christian, a member of a local church, and in regular attendance at the church. This information should be completed in the application form and signed by either the pastor, associate pastor, or the youth pastor. Families moving into the Metroplex who have not had time to establish church membership should check with the school office for procedures.

  3. Enrollment of new students begins in February. Applications are filed for consideration based on the date the complete application is received in the school office.

  4. For a new student to enter 1st grade, he or she must transfer from an academic kindergarten program. Students must also complete a skill screening administered at Trinity Baptist Temple Academy.

  5. Students transferring to Trinity Baptist Temple Academy from another school must have grades of 75 or above on their report card for the year-end average (grades 1 - 3). Students must be at grade level or above on a nationally standardized achievement test (Stanford, California, or Iowa tests).

  6. Students transferring from another school must have a good disciplinary record from that school.

Re-enrollment

Re-enrollment begins in February each year for the next school term. A student is officially re-enrolled when the application is complete and registration fees are paid.

Non-discriminatory Policy

Trinity Baptist Temple Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship programs, athletic programs or any other school administered program available to the students.
